It is a huge wake-up call to realize how unfit/ out of shape I am. I think part of the joy of racing the Sea Otter Classic Fuego XL is being side by side the pros at the start line. Being there in person on lap 2 and witnessing their technique and speed firsthand. You see things out there on the course that teach. Rose-colored glasses fall off.
